Challenges in Pool Water Treatment

Bacteria and other pathogens in swimming pools can cause many issues. For example:

Our Solutions in Pool Water Treatment

Daisy System 1

Traditional pool water treatment attempts to solve the challenges by killing bacteria with high doses of chlorine, UV or ozon. However, the Daisy Dosing system solves these challenges by preventing bacterial growth. It is based on three principles:

Step 1: Filtration with AFM®

The bio-resistant milter media offers incredible filtration performance and outlasts all other filter media

Step 2: Coagulation & Flocculation

Enables sub-micron filtration of bacteria and particles for crystal clear and safe water. Lowers oxidation demand dramatically and offers a safe barrier against bacteria and other pathogens.

Step 3: ACO®

A highly innovative, eco-friendly liquid product most effective in any outdoor pools, including salt water pools. Can also be used on its own.

How to use APF®?

Hover over me…

APF®

  • APF® should be dosed constantly to the water at a very slow flow rate. 0.3 to 1 ml of APF® is injected per m3 of water circulated through the filters.
  • For best results, APF® should be injected directly into a  ZPM, located between the pump and the AFM® filter.
  • The pH should be neutral, alkalinity should be greater than 40 ppm and the total hardness above 100 ppm for best results.
  • Only peristaltic pumps such as the Dryden Aqua Floc-Dos pump should be used. Do not use diaphragm or solenoid pumps because they do not give a continuous flow!

ACO® for Outdoor Pools

ACO® for Outdoor Pools

ACO is the perfect ecological alternative to traditional stabilisers:

  • Reduces chlorine consumption by an average of 50% compared to non-stabilised pools.
  • Does not lead to chlorine lock and does not reduce chlorine effectiveness. Unlike cyanuric acid, ACO® avoids all problems of saturated water and unnecessary chlorine overdosage.
  • Does not build up over time With ACO® , pools do not need to be drained – avoiding chlorine, water and energy waste!

Filtration with AFM®

Our bio-resistant filter media offers incredible filtration performance and outlasts all other filter media.
